Louis Braille 1809-1852 - Inventor of Braille for the Blind - The Blind Man Who Illuminated the World for the Blind 
Louis Braille was a young boy who lost his sight while helping his mother after a needle entered his eye. When he was 3 years old, he developed an infection in his other eye and became completely blind. He was constantly haunted by the question, “Why is this happening to me?!” He felt extremely sad and terribly lonely, but this needle that took away his sight was a reason for illuminating the lives of millions who were living in darkness. 
At the age of sixteen, this child was able to bring salvation to millions of disabled people in this world by inventing the Braille language. Despite the brilliance of the invention, it was not accepted or recognized at the time, but he never stopped teaching his students about it. He also tried many times to submit his project to the French Academy, but as usual, he was always rejected. His ambition did not stop there, but with the help of his father, he was able to invent a typewriter for the blind, so that the blind could write in addition to being able to read.
 
Helen Keller 1880-1968: Ambassador for the American Blind 
Helen Keller was born in Tuscumbia, USA, and is considered one of the symbols of human will. After reaching the age of nineteen months, she was infected with meningitis and scarlet fever, which caused her to lose her hearing and sight. She learned at the hands of the teacher Anne Sullivan, who went through several stages with her to teach her to speak by sign and read by Braille. She began by teaching her to know things and feel them by hand, in addition to teaching her the English language, which she was able to obtain a certificate in. She was also able to study geography using maps made in the garden of her home, which made her go out into the outside world and get to know everything  around her .
Helen joined the Cambridge Girls' Institute and received a BA in Philosophy. She became famous and began lecturing and writing articles for newspapers and magazines. In her spare time, she learned to swim, dive, drive a  two-horse carriage  and sew. She then joined Radcliffe College to study higher education, where she studied English grammar and literature. She also learned German, French, Latin and Greek. She received a PhD in science and philosophy. She was chosen to serve as an ambassador for the American Organization for the Blind, thanks to her efforts in defending the rights of people with disabilities. She wrote eighteen books. Despite what she went through, she is considered one of the people who enjoyed a strong will, and for this reason she was called "the miracle of humanity." 
Dr. Taha Hussein 1889-1973: From a blind student to the dean of Arabic literature 
Dr. Taha Hussein, the dean of Arabic literature, is one of the greatest Arab thinkers. Despite the difficulties he went through, most notably his blindness and poverty, he was able to excel and shine, from being a blind student at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to reaching the position of Minister of Education (currently Education). Taha Hussein was born in the village of Al-Kilo in Minya Governorate, and became blind when he was four years old. He joined the village’s Kuttab and memorized the Holy Quran, then Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to study religion and the Arabic language. When the Egyptian University opened its doors, Taha joined it and studied modern sciences, history and geography. After obtaining his doctorate, he went on a mission to France in 1914. After his return to Egypt, he was appointed a professor of Roman and Greek history at the Egyptian University. In 1925, the Ministry of Education appointed him a professor of Arabic literature, and he became dean of the Faculty of Arts in 1928. He became Minister of Education, and he is the one who came up with the idea of ​​free education.
(Imam Al-Tirmidhi) 
He is the Imam, the preserver, the speaker, Muhammad bin Isa al-Tirmidhi, the author of the famous Sunan al-Tirmidhi and one of the authors of the six famous books on hadith. May God have mercy on him, he was blind, but he was endowed with talents and morals that made him one of the great scholars. He excelled in the science of hadith and wrote a number of useful and beneficial books, the most important of which are (Sunan al-Tirmidhi), (al-Shama’il al-Muhammadiyah), and (al-Zuhd). He died in the year 279 AH.
Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz (12 Dhu al-Hijjah 1330 AH - November 22, 1910 / 27 Muharram 1420 AH - May 13, 1999), 
A Saudi judge and jurist, born in Riyadh to a family of scholars, he received his education from the sheikhs and scholars of his town. He held the position of Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1413 AH corresponding to 1992 AD until his death, in addition to heading the Council of Senior Scholars of Saudi Arabia, heading the Department of Scientific Research and Ifta, heading the Constituent Council of the Muslim World League, and heading the Islamic Fiqh Council. He also served as the director of the Islamic University in Medina for five years. Ibn Baz received the King Faisal Prize for Service to Islam in 1402 AH corresponding to 1982 AD. Ibn Baz’s writings amounted to more than 41 books, covering many Islamic sciences, including jurisprudence, doctrine, fatwas, and Islamic thought.
 
Ibn Baz is one of the greatest Sunni scholars of his time, and he was respected and revered by all the sheikhs of his time throughout the Islamic world. As for the Salafi scholars, they consider him the imam of their time, and “he is the renewer of this century.”
Abu Al-Ala Al-Maarri.. The poet of the wise
“I thank God for my blindness as others thank Him for their sight,” is a saying of the poet and writer Abu al-Ala al-Ma’arri, who lost his sight at the age of four as a result of smallpox. He used to say, “I know no color except red, because when I had smallpox I wore a saffron-dyed garment and I know nothing else.” He began composing poetry at the age of eleven, then studied language, literature, and poetry in Aleppo and Antioch. He worked as a poet and philosopher, traveling to central Baghdad and gathering a number of students to listen to his lectures on poetry and grammar.
 
Abu al-Ala was distinguished by his extreme intelligence and strong memory. When he visited Baghdad in 1007, he increased his knowledge from its libraries and scholars. After his return to his hometown of Ma'arrat al-Nu'man, he began writing and classifying, staying at home. His scribe was Ali ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Hashim. The book "The Epistle of Forgiveness" is considered one of the most beautiful works written by al-Ma'arri in prose, and one of the greatest books of critical heritage. It has been said that Dante, the author of The Divine Comedy, took the idea and content of his book from Abu al-Ala.

Turkish artist Asrif Armagan is a prominent symbol of human genius. He has astonished the scientists of Europe and America, and the reason is strange. This artist has never seen the light of day in his life, as he was born blind. Despite this, he paints with his mind, heart, feelings and emotions wonderful paintings that combine realism and expressionism, in which he depicts life in wonderful imaginations. His paintings are characterized by the harmony of colors, and they are rich in the physicality of small details and commitment to perspective. 
Yin Haozi: Blind and Aeronautical Engineer
Yin Haozi is one of the Chinese girls who was born blind. Yin Haozi was born in Hong Kong without seeing a single ray of light in the world! But despite that, she was able to complete the first stages of education with clear excellence, especially in mathematics. She joined the College of Engineering and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors. Her specialization was in a field that was strange to those like her, as she entered the field of helicopter design.
