Student Journey
  • The student’s journey in the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program begins with participation in the Mawhiba Competition, where the student must pass the first and second stages to be nominated to attend the basic courses through which he/she qualifies to attend the forums .
  • The student progresses through the training levels from one forum to another, until reaching the final stage, after which the student becomes able to represent the team internationally. 
  • Participation in international science competitions begins from the second middle grade to the third secondary grade, if the candidate passes the nomination tests from one stage to another within the science teams (mathematics - physics - chemistry - biology - science - informatics).

The National Scale for Giftedness Identification is also considered a basic source of participation.

The student’s continued training requires passing the interim tests that qualify him for the advanced stages of training .

Policies
Policy for completing the student’s journey in the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program
 
  • The student must attend all lectures and activities in the program, and will be denied the award of the certificate if his/her attendance rate is less than (80%) of the program hours. 
  • As an exception, a certificate may be granted to a student if his/her attendance rate is less than (80%) of the program hours, if he/she submits an acceptable excuse, provided that the attendance rate is not less than (70%). 
  • The student will be excluded from participating in the program if he/she engages in behaviors that violate public morals and ethics, such as: bullying, verbal or physical assault on others, or violating the directives of officials.
  • The student will be prohibited from participating in Mawhiba programs if he/she repeatedly engages in behaviors that violate public morals and ethics.
